Smilemakers lube has a minimal and medical-grade ingredient list & we are completely transparent about these 5 ingredients:

. Carbomer: A thickener that increases the thickness of the gel

. Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate: a natural extract from the licorice plant that has anti-inflammatory, anti-irritant properties, and supports reducing constant friction during sex. This is an ingredient found in many high-end skincare products

. Sodium Benzoate: a salt used as a natural preservative to prevent bacteria. We use Sodium Benzoate - safer for you, instead of using parabens which are harmful to the body like many other lubricant brands.

. Pure glycerine: a water-based base that gives lubricating gels a smooth texture & moisturizes the skin found in many skincare products

. Methyl Propanediol: a solubilizer that gives a velvety-smooth feel. This is the premium ingredient we chose to replace silicone (which makes lubricating gels smoother, however, silicone is not compatible with many sex toys & condoms). With Methyl Propanediol, Smilemakers Lubricants will provide a smoother feel than other water-based lubricants.
